Online gambling in the U.S. to be legal again in 2007, according to gambling community surveyed by 777.Com

According to an ongoing poll conducted by 777.com (www.777.com), the Internet's leading gambling guide, 75% of gamblers believe that online gambling will again be legal in the U.S. within the next three years.

777.com is giving online gamblers, especially those from the U.S., a chance to voice their opinions regarding the country's ban on online gambling. Members of the gambling community were asked to say when they believe the U.S. legislature would cancel the online gambling and make it possible for millions of Americans to play their favorite casino games online once again.

The poll (www.777.com/poll/when-will-the-u-s-allow-online-gambling-again) shows that a staggering 42% of participants are incredibly optimistic and believe that by the end of 2007, online gambling will be allowed in the U.S. again and that the law that was passed by President Bush on October 13, 2006 will be annulled.

On the other hand, 25% of the voters are less optimistic and believe that the online gambling ban will never be changed.

When summarizing the votes it is clear, however, that 75% of the members of the gambling community believe that the ban will not remain in tact for long, with 13% saying the ban will end in 2008, 9% suggest 2009 and 11% think that 2010 will be the year will be the year that U.S. residents will be dealt a lucky hand again.

Amy Gomez, 777.com's Marketing Director, sees this outcome as a sign that online gamblers have not given up on the possibility of ever playing online again.

"This is very encouraging," said Gomez. "Online gamblers from all over the world and from the U.S. in particularly, have no doubt that this ban is only temporary. 777.com and I agree with them and believe that the future is bright."

Gomez also encourages players to voice their opinion and cast their vote.

"It is highly important for every player to participate in this poll," said Gomez. "Gamblers can influence the Legislature and this is their chance to do so.
